Have Mobile Office, Will Work… Anywhere!

Where are we now? Still in Las Vegas, baby! Uhm, embarrassed to say… still in the “Park-n-Ride style RV resort. :|

I can explain!

Have you ever had something really bug you, but you just got too busy to take care of it and the bugging thing wasn’t so buggy afterall? Yep, that’s what I’m talking about. Since we arrived in Las Vegas last Wednesday night (whaaaaaat? a whole week ago?), life has been non-stop. I mean constant go, go, go!

First, it was Ty’s four-day Noteworthy Convention - all about the Note buying and selling industry. (I did attend a couple days, but mostly hung out in a quiet corner with my beloved laptop, writing my Facebook materials!) The sponsored meals were great and the entertainment was fun: juggler, pretzel gal, stilt man and clown. Pics coming.

Now, Ty is at a Mentalism seminar, followed by a Hypnosis seminar. We’re both big-time seminar junkies (okay, “seminar pros”), but Ty gets the grand prize this week. LOL.

I did go and eyeball a much more attractive RV park, called Sam’s Town Hotel, Gamling Hall & RV Park! For only $26.50 a night, it looks decent. Apparently they got voted Best RV Park in Las Vegas! Hmmm.

However, I’m not hugely keen on moving our big home on wheels by myself. I enjoyed driving her on the freeway for the first time last week. However, maneouvering her into a tight spot, backing up, parking, etc. - whew. No thanks.

I’d rather endure the hellish traffic noise and wait ’til Ty’s free. Well, you see, I’ve been so laser-focused on my exciting work projects! (Sorry, Tim Ferriss, those four-hours are darn elusive!) The RV has been like a wee cocoon (and recording studio) for the past several days).

Ty and I did hook up with a couple of different friends who happened to be in Las Vegas anyway. And, on Saturday night, we enjoyed the incredible water show at the Bellagio - awesome!!

We’re talking of a side trip to Hoover Dam and Boulder City next. Then, it’ll be a coin toss between Grand Canyon, Sedona and sucklike… or slowly heading up the West Coast to be in the Seattle area for the beginning of December. (My turn to have conferences! I’m attending the Facebook best practices event put on by Web Community Forum - be sure to come say “Hi” if you’re there too!)

All the downsides aside, there isn’t one day goes by when I don’t absolutely LOVE my mobile lifestyle! In fact, I was just interviewed by Alexendra Barrett of Baby Boomer Life all about my experience so far!

When you’re 100% energized by your work, would you agree it doesn’t really count towards “work hours”?

Hi guys. Cool blog! Fun reading about your mobile lifestyle.

I’m very interested in the Mentalism and Hypnosis seminar you mention in this post. Can you give me a website or someone to contact? I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time.

    Much thanks.

Hey Brett - sure thing!! I’ve asked Ty to contact you directly with the full scoop! He belongs to a neat hypnosis community that you’d enjoy too.
