@Rene aha, boondockers, eh? I do like my electrical hookup at minimum though, as I'm not keen on the noise of the generator and I'm always on my computer 'til late. :)

Hubby and I invested in decent bikes a few months back... but haven't been that rigorous about using them. And we have weights, bands, and a few other fitness gadgets along with workout vidoes galore... but there's just always something more fun to do!! LOL Besides, there isn't enough room to workout on board the coach. Ha, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

@Jaimie omg, small world!! Ooee, we'll be heading north shortly, so will make a point of taking the 99 and checking out Coarsegold. I got my Escapees book out and looked it up. ;)

Mari,
I found your site site through twitter, and, while I don't RV, I wanted to leave a comment to say how beautiful your site is and how much I enjoyed this post. It seems that you and Ty have found a great lifestyle, and your exuberance is most refreshing.

Thanks for sharing your life with your readers!

I wish I'd realized you were there! I stopped by to visit an ill friend a couple of days ago. It is a fabulous park by any standard. Of the Escapees parks, it's #2, though, for me. I love the facilities (i.e. hot tub), but I think Coarsegold near Fresno is prettier. But then I love the oaks and trees and the fact the lots are shaped by the terrain, not vice versa.

That place looks like a fabulous spot to stop in for a while. We do prefer boondocking over resorts, but sometimes it's just so nice to have those luxuries around.

That gym is really nice. When we hit the road, we expected to find gym facilities in the upscale parks we visited around the country. Ha! It seems that outside of the west coast, not too many RVers give a hoot about staying fit. We haven't seen one in a looooong time. Big surprise, I know.
